Define "Wierd"

Saturday, Jordan and I went out with two of our students (his boy my girl) who are dating and we went to a buffet (or as they call it BBQ). When you go to a buffet/BBQ then you go get meat from these white dishes and you fry them on your own skillet/ hotplate in the middle of the table. Think of like bacon in a tray, but different kinds and cuts of meat like that.

As we went to go get some meat and other food, one student asked me, “do you not eat any kind of meat?” (I figured he asked because we had just talked about the fact that I don’t smoke or don’t drink.) So I kind of laughed and said, “No I’ll eat anything, but if it’s something weird, just don’t tell me what it is until afterward.”
Apparently my definition and his definition of weird are much different as he put some meat on to fry and announced it was chicken heart. … awesome. So… when in Rome…or China. Turns out, it was a mistranslation and it was chicken gizzard instead. Either way, I stopped asking what meat it was. Wait, I never asked to start with… from then on I just made the thought in my mind that it was all beef and bacon, different flavors of beef and bacon. Mmmmm. Delicirous.
